Recently, we discovered through developer chat some of the new changes coming to Diablo 4 Loot Reborn, including Helltide density, bosses, mechanics, quests, events, and even Andariel is making a comeback with Tormented Boss changes.
In this guide, we’ll summarize some of the key changes to help you quickly understand how Season 4 is different from previous seasons and get a head start on Loot Reborn!
For Helltide, the developers looked closely at player feedback and general experience gained from other popular activities that players seemed to enjoy, such as Blood Harvests in Season 2. So, what’s the difference?
When you step into Helltide, you’ll notice a new Threat meter on the right side of the screen. This one fills up as you kill demons and engage in content.
Threat levels are divided into three levels. Each level increases the rewards and difficulty of monsters. They will throw ambushes at you, and elites will start spawning. But it also means you’ll get more Diablo 4 Gold and loot from it.
Once the meter is completely filled, you become Hell-Marked. Hell-Marked triggers the final ambush, which means a full-scale wave of demons will be thrown at you, all culminating in the last battle against Hellborne. Hellborne is very challenging and actually resurrected the hero of Sanctuary.
Regardless, once the frenzy wave ends, or if you die, Threat meter resets.
Another new addition is the ability to collect a new material called Baneful Hearts. They mainly drop from Tortured Gifts around Helltide, which are basically Helltide Chests, and sometimes you may see them from various demons around the area, such as Doomsayers and Hellborne.
These Baneful Hearts are important because you can summon a zone-wide boss for each one, called Blood Maiden.
To find this demon, head to the demon head icon on the map. Summoning the big bad requires three Hearts, but if you’re leaching from a friend, you’ll need zero Hearts. Instead, contributors who summon Blood Maiden receive additional rewards. No matter what, everyone is a winner.
There are many other major changes, including new random pop-up Doomsayer, Iron Wolf, and Demonic events waiting to be discovered. Additionally, Helltide-specific Whisper Bounties are included here, and Whispers in general have been fully enhanced.
Next, let’s talk about some Tormented Bosses. Joining Boss Ladder is Maiden of Anguish, Andariel. She shares the same loot table as Duriel, so you can get some of the best items in the game from both sources.
Additionally, this encounter has been updated, so it should feel different than before. You can expect to encounter a variety of elements in combat, even her signature Poison Nova attack.
Andariel is located in Hanged Man’s Hall, east of Tasarak. You will need the summoning parts for Lord Zir and Beast in Ice.
Besides this, you can now summon level 200 versions of each Tormented boss, which are called Tormented Echoes. If you level them up to Echo, you’ll get five times more rewards than a normal Tormented Boss, but it only costs three times the materials and a new summoning item called Stygian Stones.
They can be summoned from the same altar as the normal boss, so just click through to Tormented version.
Stygian Stones can be found deep in Pit. After completing Nightmare Dungeon Tier 45, you will be given a priority task to unlock Pit. You can run them individually or in a team. Additionally, when you first kill any of these Tormented Echo bosses, you’ll gain a Resplendent Spark for your troubles, which can go a long way toward crafting some unique items.
Currently, Helltides can still be unlocked by completing the campaign or creating a campaign-skipped character. I’m guessing some of Season 4’s updates like Helltide expansions will cause them to appear in World Tiers 1 and 2 now. If you create a campaign-skipped character, you can use Helltides from level 1 to level 100.
So do Helltides’ changes now pose a threat? Undoubtedly, through the feedback of some PTR players, it is obvious that Helltides is actually more threatening than in any previous season.
Helltides are definitely the most effective upgrades we have in Season 4. Both Hell on Sanctuary and Demonic Invasions provide significant challenges for players.
Additionally, in Season 4 PTR, the developers actually increased the pickup radius of Aberrant Cinder, and they also stated that it will definitely still be there in Season 4.
As we all know, one pillar of Helltides upgrades is to find opportunities to maximize efficiency, and increasing Aberrant Cinder pickup radius is undoubtedly a huge quality of life change. Because you know, no one likes to backtrack and pick up Cinder and interrupt your flow.
On the subject of maximizing efficiency, one thing that wasn’t present in PTR but was present in Season 4 release is that the developers actually reduced the time required to interact with and open Tortured Gifts. As monster density increases, this could play a key role in a player’s endgame journey.
Finally, the developers also stated that they may add more encounters to Helltides, like a Butcher-style mechanic. While considering Helltides upgrades, these types of chance encounters, random encounters, or just the opportunity to add some novelty or surprise are definitely something to look forward to, and are definitely in the spirit of Doomsayer events.
To be honest, most of these changes are prompted by the community, and hopefully Diablo developers will hear more feedback. That’s all for today. See you at the Sanctuary!
After Diablo 4 devs investigated the feedback from players after PTR ended, they seem to have a new direction for the development of Season 4. Recently, the specific name of Season 4 has been revealed, namely “Loot Reborn”, which is based on fire and the forge, and Iron Wolves seems to be the specific theme of this season.
So what is “Iron Wolves”? It is a combat company composed of experienced mercenaries, specially created to destroy invading demons. From the PTR, we have seen how it actually performs in battle. Are you ready to fight alongside them?
As usual, Diablo 4 Season 4 has also added some new quests and mechanics for players to explore for great loot, such as gold, Igneous Core or other Uniques. What may surprise players is that devs previously promised it would bring players an earth-shaking experience in Season 4. From the exposure of the season name, we can see their emphasis on loot. Therefore, before the start of S4, players can learn more practical items farming ways, leveling tips or review the past and learn the new based on previous seasons experiences.
After the previous Seasons 1, 2 and 3, it was clear that none of those seasons went beyond the Seasonal Realm, let alone left anything worth playing in Eternal Realm.
Although the overall number of dropped items has decreased, the quality has improved. It greatly saves us time in organizing items and allows us to enjoy the game itself more.
Devs reduced the affixes for legendary items to three, and the affixes for rare items to two. Although the affixes were reduced, they became more effective. And, they have increased the overall value of these affixes, and every item has become more valuable. Every time we gain an item, we will become stronger.
Although the amount of gold consumed is at its highest when players re-roll items, the amount of materials you need to perform all forging activities at BlackSmith is now much smaller than before, which can reduce a lot of unnecessary expenses. In this way, you can get more powerful item support in the subsequent journey.
Next is the rarity of the items you receive will be affected by the level of the world you take part in. You can only gain sacred items and higher-level items in World Tier III. Ancestral items will only appear in World Tier IV. If you want to get those Legendary items with 925 Item Power, you must defeat enemies with level over 95.
Finally, all Uniques will appear in World Tier III, while some Uniques will only appear in World Tier I and II. And Uber Uniques will appear at max Item Power level when you kill a level 55 monster.
The new version of Codex of Power will bring fresh changes. First, you have unlimited use of Legendary Aspects you stored in Codex of Power when you salvage Legendary items. Legendary items salvage at the Blacksmith have great power and can upgrade your Legendary Aspects. After you enter Diablo 4 at the first time when Season 4 is released, some of your legacy aspect items will automatically be converted to a certain level in Codex of Power. By the way, your warehouse space will still allow you to load the same shares as before items, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to fit them into your small warehouse when you get better loot.
It contains many Aspects, and you can choose the direction you like to improve. And when you reach the highest level in some Aspects, the system will remind you that you have reached your goal.
Codex of Power will have new features, namely search, filtering and collection of Aspects. When selecting a power for imprinting in Occultist, your equipped power will be displayed via an icon and tooltip. These powers will be automatically saved to the Eternal Realm in the Seasonal Realm when the season is about to end. If these two same powers both exist in Eternal Realm and Seasonal Realm, the system would choose the higher one.
As the name suggests, Tempering Manuals are used to upgrade the quality of the equipment, which are divided into 6 categories.
Each Tempering Manual contains several optional affixes. You can easily find Tempering Manuals throughout the game. Once you find the Tempering Manuals, just add the right affixes to equipments to strengthen them and your combat power. But, before you Temper an item, you have to focus on its Tempering Durability.
Affixes given to equipment in the manual in Seasonal Realm will last until the end of the season, but affixes given to equipment in the Eternal Realm will be permanent.
Use all the materials you have worked so hard to get from those terrible mines and caverns into weapons, exploit their potential to the limit, and then you will have a greater chance of winning when facing future raids or missions.
The specific function of Masterworking is to increase the strength of all affixes on the equipment, and every 4th tier, it would improve the random affixes in the equipment. Affixes will turn blue after receiving the first reward, then yellow and then orange. But, if you want to make Affixes turn yellow, you may have to put in 10 times more effort than turning them blue. Similarly, if you want to make them change from yellow to orange, it is even more difficult. When you Masterwork an item and it has reached its limit, if you are still not satisfied with its performance at that time, the system also gives you the opportunity to reset the item.
However, I think most players are not willing to reset the top-notch weapons they have worked so hard to upgrade. So, this is a ridiculous permission. But I also think that for those old players who have the courage to return to Diablo 4, they can use the Masterworking mechanism to reset all their items and give themselves a chance to start over.
For those players who are lucky enough to get Ancestral Legendary and Unique Items, don’t just sit there and be happy. If you look closely at these precious things, there may be Greater Affixes on them. This thing is 1.5 times stronger than normal affixes. But I guess no one would be that careless. After all, when you get those items, the system will also give you a different audio prompt, and there will also be a special icon in your inventory to remind you that you have become a Lucky dog.
For those who haven’t obtained Greater Affixes through Ancestral Legendary and Unique Items, don’t be discouraged. After all, each Greater Affix is born in different ways. Because every Affix on the item has a chance to become a Greater Affixes in World Tier III and IV. Only one thing to note is that it is wishful thinking to want to turn an ordinary Affix into a Greater Affix by Enchant. lol!
In Season 4, it would be easier, streamlined and more effective.
In addition, devs also added Diamonds' Resistance values.
In general, the various upgrades made in Diablo 4 Season 4 are all considering players. The devs are making subtractions for this game, simplifying the Codex of Power and Gems mechanisms, optimizing various Affixes and Masterworking. While enriching the gameplay, it takes into account the feelings of returning players and new players, and perfectly fits the season theme of “Loot Reborn”. I wish everyone who starts Season 4 good luck.
The highly anticipated item faction system is coming to the full release of Last Epoch, on February 21st.
With this innovative new way, players can participate in the deep and rewarding item hunt that Last Epoch offers, in a way that they like to play.
By joining the Merchants Guild, you will be able to buy, sell, and trade items through the bustling bazaar. Or, if you choose to join the Circle of Fortune, you’ll set your sights on the stars and be able to bolster your item acquisition through Prophesies and increased item drop rates. So, this faction system is the result of many years of debating what the ideal trade system should look like in a loot-based ARPG.
If you have observed carefully, you will know that players of ARPGs are split nearly down the middle when it comes to those who want their experience to heavily trade and an economy, and those who want to focus on finding items themselves or, with close friends. So, it would be great if the developers of Last Epoch could provide players from both factions with a tailor-made and exciting path to finding top-tier items through the item faction system!
In Last Epoch 1.0, you will join a faction once you reach the great mercantile city of Maj’Elka.
When you select to join the Merchants Guild or the Circle of Fortune, a new interface will become available that will let you access details about your current status with your faction (known as reputation), how much Favor you currently have and what benefits your faction is currently providing you. Let’s talk about these briefly.
Reputation within a faction is a core part of how a faction is going to be benefiting you on your journey. As a representative of that faction, you will continue to increase your reputation by killing enemies and completing quests.
For the Merchants Guild, this includes participating in the bazaar and completing trades at your current level. And for the Circle of Fortune, this means completing prophesies that will divine certain items after fulfilling the foretold conditions.
Through earning reputation, you will ascend ranks within your faction, earning your unique benefits and options. Once you have earned reputation within a faction, that reputation stays with your account, in that game mode. This means, if you rank up a cycle character, all of your other cycle characters will have that rank when they join the same faction, and contribute to that faction’s reputation gain. You may switch factions and earn and maintain reputation with them with no penalty to your earned reputation with the other.
There are currently 10 ranks to achieve in each faction. With the later ranks requiring quite a bit of commitment in order to obtain. So, while you have the freedom to change your faction at any time, you will want to pick a faction and stick with it to reach the most powerful benefits that they have to offer.
It is important to note that you can only be a member of one faction at any given time per character. And items earned with the benefits from those factions will require that you are aligned with them in order to use them. So, most players will want to stick to a faction that rewards their preferred playstyle.
Next, let’s talk about Favor. Favor is the currency you will earn while slaying enemies or completing quests for each of the factions.
Favor is separate from reputation. This currency can be used to either complete trades with the Merchants Guild or acquire new prophesies from the Circle of Fortune. And if you find yourself with excess favor, you can always spin the wheel with the faction gambler.
Item gifting to party members has been in the game for a while now and it isn’t going anywhere.
However, it’s important to note that once you have joined a faction, items will start being tagged with the faction you are a part of when they dropped.
This means, that while questing if you are a member of the Merchants Guild, and an item drops for you that item will still be shareable with anyone who was in the party like always, and be available to be sold provided that you meet the rank requirements in the Merchants Guild bazaar.
Just be sure that the person you are trading it to also meets the same faction requirements.
The last use case developers wanted to solve for, are friends who choose to play together and just want their own little trade group.
To solve this problem, developers introduced Resonance, which is a new type of item that can be found when you are questing with your friends or party members. This item can be used to enable an item to be gifted specifically to the player you have a Resonance with, even if they weren't there when the item dropped.
A lot of times, players will play with their friends and then later, you'll be soloing a piece of content and the perfect item drops for your buddy. Thanks to the new Resonance system, you will be able to give them that perfect item, the next time you see them.
As those of you who love loot-based ARPGs know, trade and economy is a very complex and divisive issue to solve for when catering to a large player base and different play styles, while keeping the item acquisition hunt feeling great.
There is so much more to explore with the item faction system. Let's wait for February 21st. All the mysteries about the item faction system will be revealed during the search!
I’m going to bring you a quick Shaman tank in-depth guide about everything we need to know in WoW Classic Season of Discovery. It includes races, runes, what you want to use on certain bosses, rotation, and just kind of further information into the builds.
Hope you like this build and have a try. Now, let's just dive into this guide.
With Shaman tanking, there are only 3 races you can play as: Troll, Orc, and Tauren. Each has special racial or special things that make them better than others.
If you’re looking for more stamina and more survivability build, you’re going to go Tauren. This brings the Racial of Endurance, giving you more health pull. It also has War Stomp, which is great for AOE pulls. Stomp shock everything. It basically stuns every target for 3 seconds so you get all the aggro on them and pull them towards you.
If you’re going Orc, which has Axe Specialization, giving you a couple more points into using axes. You also get Blood Fury, which provides a damage boost but with a 50% less chance of healing for 25 seconds. So some bosses it might cost you your life.
Trolls, the last race, brings a great racial called Berserking. This increase your attack speed for some time. The other downside of it is they bring Beast Slaying, currently not very useful in BFD.
Next, we’re going to look at what type of runes you want to be running as a Shaman tank. There’s a different variety. You’re going to want to have the Way of Earth on. It’s very easy to obtain in the Barrens. This one turns your abilities, such as Earth Shock, into a taunt for you. It also gives you, on top of that, a 30% more health pull.
Other things you’d like to run for survivability include Shield Mastery, throwing on a shield, giving you 15% extra block chance without any other bonuses. So, it might be useful for you.
If you’re not getting hit much or hard in BFD, I would recommend running Dual Wield, using double Rockbiter Weapons to get an increased amount of threat. However, you would also have to run Dual Wield Specialization on your chest piece rather than Shield Mastery since you’re not using a shield.
For the hands, these are runes that I swap on each different boss in the BFD. Some bosses, I’ll throw on Molten Blast for AOE.
For single-target bosses, I’ll throw on Lava Lash.
For bosses like Ghamoo-ra, I’ll throw on Lava Burst with Overload on my chest for an increased chance of procing and doing more damage. You’ll still hold the number 1 threat, no matter what.
The runes are up to you, whichever way you like to play the game. If you want to go Shield Mastery or try new things that Shaman has offered in SOD, it’s up to you.
Something thorough that we go over doesn’t have to be crazy right now is the stat priority for Shaman tanks. You do want stamina, but it’s not something you’re going to get right away since bosses aren’t hitting that hard. So, focus on agility into strength, then into stamina. These 3 boost your threat, damage, and help you DPS.
Then focus on intellect for mana, and armor and hit rating. Currently, you don’t get a lot of armor rating since we’re on the 25 brackets, and hit rating is obtained from BFD Boon and epic gear from professions. These are quick notes about stat priority and what to look for in a Shaman tank.
I want to get into the quick rotation. When you pull a boss, pop Flame Shock right off the bat and then cast Molten Blast because, with Flame Shock up, there’s a 10% chance that this resets the cooldown of Molten Blast. So, you can keep pressing Molten Blast, generating more threat as you go in. If you don’t have another Shaman in your group, drop the right totems.
Strength of Earth Totem and Fire Nova Totem seems to be the only 2 because your mana pool isn’t crazy high. Dropping totems like Fire Nova Totem repeatedly might not be worth it because you’ll go out of mana. Strength of Earth Totem stays up for 2 minutes, so you drop it. Most bosses last 30 seconds to 45 seconds or maybe longer, which might last a minute 30.
You can also apply Frost Shock if all the targets have Flame Shock on them, and if you have enough mana, you can throw in Lightning Shields. Again, it’s situational, depending on your mana. If you have extra mana to spend, throw on Lightning Shield, Frost Shocks, or keep throwing Molten Blast.
The rotation is situational, so if your rune swapping, you might not be running Molten Blast. You might run Lava Lash, Lava Burst, or different things that are good for different bosses. But you’ll still Flame Shock, drop the same totems, and look out for those things. The rune is the biggest thing on whether you’re casting Molten Blast, Lava Lash, or Lava Burst.
Finally, I want to get into professions and maybe some consumables for the Shaman tank. Currently, there aren’t professions that increase your threat besides maybe engineering for Heavy Dynamite, but it’s for AOE damage. Most bosses in BFD are single tank bosses, so professions are up to you. I would say run Leatherworking. You get gloves that give you a hit percentage and increase your attack speed for a certain duration when you pop them.
When it comes to consumables for tanks, Strong Troll’s Blood Potion for health regeneration throughout the raid, Elixir of Defense for armor that reduces all damage by boss melee attacks, stacking with some runes like Way of Earth for armor. Elixir of Firepower is good for abilities like Lava Burst and Molten Blast. Elixir of Lesser Agility is excellent for agility, our number 1 stat priority.
Situational consumables like Free Action Potions are invaluable against bosses and enemies with stuns. If you pop it at the beginning of Lady Saravess, you won’t get frozen arrowed and can stand in her pool without getting chains in Phase 2. Shadow Protection potions are solid against Kelris.
Finally, for the last part of this guide, we’re getting into the talent tree for Shaman tanks. You’re going to want to go right into the enhancement tree, going 5 out of 5 in Shield Specialization. It increases your chance to block attacks with the shield by 5% and increases the amount blocked by 25%. This is up to you.
If you’re running a shield, it’s worth it. If not, and you’re dual-wielding, Ancestral Knowledge might be better, increasing your maximum mana by 5%. Going down, you want Thundering Strikes, improving your chance to crit with your weapon by 5%. If you’re dual-wielding, you have a double chance to crit.
Anticipation, going 5 out of 5 increases your chance to dodge by an additional 5%. You want to dodge and parry to tank less damage for a smoother raid.
Finally, since you get 16 points, we’re going to put 1 into Flurry, increasing your attack speed by 10% for the next 3 swings after dealing a critical strike. This works well with Thundering Strikes. The more you crit, the more Flurry procs you get, making you swing faster and output more threat. It’s better for you to be tanking any boss.
Have you made any progress on FC 24? A lot of players lately have been complaining that they’re playing a lot but not seeing any improvements, which is frustrating them.
It’s time to change that. Because from my experience as a coach, I know that all you need is some focused practice and you’ll get better. If you know what to focus on, develop a proper training plan and practice accordingly. In this guide, we will show you 3 key points to becoming a good player.
There are many aspects to FC 24, and you can’t learn every aspect at once, which is why you have to set some small goals by sorting out the mechanics.
You need to practice prioritizing them and plan focused workouts for each one during the week. Winning one-on-one Tackles, Player Switching and Skill Moves are probably the best examples.
So tell yourself, today I’m going to focus on Stepovers and how to perform them cleanly, and do about 60 minutes of focus training. The next day, you can do the same thing with another mechanic, such as Player Switching.
Focusing on just one mechanic of the game will allow you to improve at this point and take a step forward. Because improvements to a specific mechanic or skill are more important than winning the game.
If you don’t know which mechanics to focus on, you need to have this mindset and don’t worry. Because we have a series of guides for you here, plus we have many in-depth tutorials that may give you ideas for training in the different major categories.
We want to take the next step and train on almost every mechanic of the game. There is a different type of training section here. Let me give you a personal example in FIFA 19.
I’m one of those players who never reaches for the right analog stick to perform some skill moves. But that time I felt like I was missing something in the game, and it stopped me for a while. Then I prioritize learning important basic and advanced Skill Moves.
All I did was go into Practice Arena, where I could actually perform specific Skill Moves. Let’s take Elastico as an example. After learning input, I told myself that this Skill Move is directional. Since the input always changes based on which direction my player is facing, I have to practice it everywhere.
I’ve invested some time and FC 24 coins to complete a basic build. Then, when it was enough, I jumped into a squad battle game against AI first before trying to train against AI with actual players. This is the perfect tool for your daily training because you can test everything without having to deal with too much stress.
Once I get a good feel for it, I move to the online portion and start trying out Skill Moves against real opponents. FIFA players just focus on that specific set of skills and try it out in different situations, showing me when and where it works, and when it doesn’t.
So you have to experience the positive and negative results of the execution mechanism. So when you embrace this mindset, you will feel it clearly. You won’t force yourself to learn all the mechanics, but once you’re done training, they will actually come naturally to you.
Remember, winning or losing doesn’t matter when training. If you focus on winning or losing situations, you can easily fall back into your bad habits. So just focus on clean execution of the mechanism. That’s the only way you can achieve your goal.
Now I want you to listen to me carefully here, because this is the most important practical part: watching and analyzing your own game, even if it’s a painful defeat. That’s not only why I’m a good player, but also what makes me a successful coach.
During your game, you may not realize what mistakes you are making in the heat of the game, and you will repeat them and possibly blame them on the game. Therefore, please observe your performance on time.
Let me tell you a brief but very important story from my coaching experience. When I send introductory emails to my students, I ask them what their strengths and weaknesses are. Sometimes I get responses like: I’m great at building, but I can’t beat the script for this game very well.
When I watch them play, I take notes and analyze their games. The funny thing is that in some cases, I don’t have to tell them anything. Because when I ask if you see the question here, they insert the correct answer into the reply and tell me what they should have done instead of what they did.
So after losing a game, make sure to use the recording option from the console and watch yourself, even if you win and it was a hard to win, do it again. Because winning a game doesn’t mean you’ve done everything right, there’s always room to correct mistakes or improve.
So you need to take that step, watch your own games, recognize your mistakes, take notes, gain focus, and retrain to be reminded again.
Finally, let’s wrap it all up with an example session. You start in Practice Arena, practicing a specific mechanic for 20 to 30 minutes. Then you go and play three or four online matches. At this point, your primary focus is on clean execution of the mechanic, not on achieving victory.
Here you can improve yourself immediately after recording a game or two and spend the rest of the course of analyzing your own games. This will make you realize what you did wrong, what you did right, and push you in the right direction of learning.
That’s it for today’s guide. We really want you to have the right training plan and the right mindset to push you in the right direction and become a better player!
Here, we are ranking our favorite young Central Midfielders in FC 24. We’ve only selected players whose primary position is Central Midfielder. Anybody who has it as a secondary position or plays out of position is left out of this list.
Kicking off with our number 9, Gabri Veiga.
Veiga currently plays for Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia. After transferring over from Celta in the summer of 2023.
He boasts a 78 overall at just 21 years of age and has a potential of 89. In the game, he is a very strong box-to-box midfielder who is able to take on defensive duties as well. He is at his best with the ball at his feet. He has great passing ability and is strong in front of the goal.
However, in the game, Veiga feels a little stiff and slow. He is not able to easily win one-on-one and isn’t able to break away with speed.
At the end, Gabri Veiga is ninth on our list because he just lacked a little of the “wow” factor.
Number 8 on our list is Joao Neves, the 18-year-old Benfica prodigy.
He is currently rated at 73 with a potential of 87, and he feels like a work in progress but with a major upside. He is a great passer and finds his teammates time and time again.
What jumps out most is his agility and ball control, creating space by turning away from a defender is a breeze and comes very naturally.
His finishing is rated quite low. However, with his composure rated at 77, he’s still able to score some good goals from our experience.
Continuing to number 7 on our list is Enzo Fernandez, already rated 82 with a potential of 88.
Fernandez has one of the higher starting overalls on our list. In the game, he is a really strong box-to-box midfielder with stamina rated at 84. His aggression makes him great for defensive duties, as he is able to use his aggression to dispossess opponents.
When on the ball, his main qualities are in his passing. His ball control is great, but he misses some skill in dribbling and agility to be useful as a dribbler.
However, when using his passing qualities, he’s very useful to set up teammates. And with his shot power and composure, he is actually quite a good finisher as well.
When looking purely at his stats, he feels a little underwhelming in the game, but he is very functional when used correctly.
At number 6, we have our first Barcelona midfielder, Pablo Gavi, who, unfortunately, in real life is out for the season.
At 19 years old, Gavi is already rated 83 overall and has a potential of 90. In the game, his defensive skills are what surprised us at first. Of course, we expected a technically gifted player, but Gavi is actually also really good at dispossessing opponents, with his aggression being rated 85 and standing tackle at 78.
Now, with the ball at his feet, is where Gavi shines. His first step is amazing, and he turns on a dime, leaving behind defenders left and right. He is able to complete any pass you can imagine and gets himself in the right areas to score goals.
His finishing, however, is a little underwhelming, but he does have the outside of the foot trait, which is a little bonus.
When taking Gavi into account, keep in mind he only has 3-star skill moves and weak foot, which might be an issue for some.
Number 5 on our list is Atletico midfielder, Pablo Barrios.
The 20-year-old is currently rated 76 overall with an 86 potential, but in the game, he plays way above his rating. Playing with Barrios is just super fun as he is super dynamic. His passing is excellent, and he is a great technical dribbler as well, even though his stats might not suggest this.
What also surprised us in playing with Barrios is his ability to dispossess an opponent, especially when the team just lost the ball on the opponent’s half. Barrios is perfect for the Gigan pressing tactics. When the team loses possession, with Barrios, you’re able to immediately pressure the opponent and try to recover possession.
Now, you may ask why Barrios is higher on our list than players like Gavi and Fernandez. The main reason is expectations versus how they actually felt in the game.
With Barrios, we were able to almost execute the same things we could do with Gavi and a lot of things even better than we could do with Fernandez.
With number 4 on our list, we have our second Barcelona midfielder, Pedri.
He has the highest overall out of all the players on our list, with an 86 overall and 92 potential. In the game, Pedri feels very similar to his Barcelona companion but just a little better in every offensive aspect.
Pedri has an incredibly quick first step and cuts and turns on a dime. His passing is on point, and when on the ball, he’s a dream to play with.
But the reason he is only number 4 on our list is that with his 86 overall rating, that is exactly what you expect from him.
Higher on our list are 3 players who not just have great potential but felt a lot better than their current overall would suggest.
So, with that, we introduce our number 3 young Central Midfielder, Ryan Gravenberch.
The 21-year-old Liverpool midfielder is currently rated 79 overall with a potential of 87. Gravenberch has 4-star skill moves and a 4-star weak foot, which makes gameplay a whole lot of fun. Even though he is 6’2", he is still very agile and a very good dribbler. This is also what makes him so fun to play with.
Besides his dribbling skills, Gravenberch also has a little poacher in him. He times his runs well, and his finishing is rated 76, which makes him higher rated at finishing than a lot of strikers.
With a potential of 87, Gravenberch will certainly continue to develop in Career Mode, which makes for an exciting perspective.
Before we reveal our final 2 players, we must say this was a very close call between the 2, and this was purely based on the fun we had playing with each player.
With that said, at number 2 on our list, we have 17-year-old Warren Zaïre-Emery, who recently has taken the world by storm.
He is the youngest player on our list and already rated 78 overall with a 90 potential. Zaïre-Emery has everything you could want from a Central Midfielder, and he is only just 17 years old. He is quite fast and already has some strength to him. He is capable of going end to end for the full 90 minutes with both attacking and defensive qualities. His defensive vision is great, and his tackles are strong.
In attack, his main quality is his passing and ball control. He’s able to make every pass you could wish for, and he’ll always be in control in every situation.
What stands out when dribbling is his balance, rated 84. When getting past defenders, he’s very difficult to knock over, which compensates for a lack of agility.
If you want somebody who can cut and turn on a dime, Zaïre-Emery might not be the one for you, though this might change once he develops to a higher level overall.
That takes us to number 1 on our list, Fabio Miretti, the 20-year-old Italian Juventus player.
He is currently rated 75 overall with a potential of 88, and he has 3-star skill moves and a 4-star weak foot. In the game, Miretti plays way above his 75 overall, and that’s exactly why he is first on our list.
You don’t expect this quality of play from a 75 overall player, which makes him great value when playing Manager Career. Overall, he is a very well-rounded player, being able to make an impact both on defense as well as in the attack.
His standout skills are his dribbling and passing. The way you can cut and turn with him in the game just gives lots of joy. The more you play him, the more he surprises you with his abilities.
Whether you’re into player Career or Manager Career, Miretti should be on your radar.
I’m going to be showing you a method of flipping items that is actually useful in WoW Season of Discovery, and you can make some easy WoW SOD Gold by doing this. What we’re talking about is flipping vendor items, so items that you buy straight from a vendor and then you can resell them at the auction house.
For example, the Rune of Teleportation. We sold it for 49 silver. They’re extremely cheap, around 9 silver to buy. A couple of recipes that we got were like 14 silver to buy, but we can sell it for like 94 silver, which is just insane. Now, it only takes a couple of minutes or even a couple of seconds to set this up and to buy the items.
There are some basic items that are really easy to get. They’re in the capital cities, and this will only take you a few minutes to run around and buy these all up, and you can have them posted up on the auction house just whenever you’re relisting your items.
That we have items that are a lot rarer. So, they’re only up at certain times or they’re only up in limited quantity. Now these items, if you want to put in the work, will actually be a lot better than the basic items that anyone can buy in the capital cities. It only takes a couple of minutes to set up and get going.
But if you want to take this to the next step further, what you can do is you can find the vendors that are out in the open world and hidden in certain locations that have limited items on them. And these items, you’re going to do this a lot better with because the barrier to entry is a lot higher. Because you actually have to go out and you have to find the mobs, the vendors, and there’ll be fewer people that are actually selling these. So what we’re going to do is I’ll show you how to set up TSM so it can have your operations posting the items where you’re always profitable for doing this sort of thing.
So what you want to do first is you want to create a new group. And now every time that you buy a vendor item that you want in this group, you simply just add it to that group. And this is the operation that I recommend using which is called Vendor Buy.
We have 120% of the vendor buy, which means it’s going to sell the items 20% higher than what you actually pay for them from a vendor. That is the minimum price. Then the normal price, if there’s no competition, it will post them at 150% of the vendor buy price, which will be a 50% profit on top of what you actually paid for them from the vendor.
This seems to work really good, and now you can set this group up. You can pretty much just post with all your other items whenever you’re posting up on the auction house, and you pretty much just buy them and you can set them for Get It and you just continuously keep on posting the items.
Now once you sell out of that stock, you can just go ahead to the vendor, and you can buy more of exact the same item that you’ve sold out of just to restock up on the items that have been selling. And this seems to work really well. Like I mentioned, it only takes a couple of minutes to go around and get a bunch of different vendor items if you’re just doing the basic vendor items.
But if you want to take it to the next level, what I’d recommend doing is searching up on WoWhead. It’s very easy to find out where these sorts of items are. You can just go on WoWhead, and you can search up all the different sort of vendors. And this way, you’ll be able to go out if you find a vendor that not many people know where to buy from.
You should be able to control that market, and you should be able to make a lot of gold from simply just buying an item from a vendor using this TSM operation. The percentage you can play around and change. If you want the minimum price to be like 150%, that means you’ll have 50% profit on every single item minimum that you’re selling. But most of the time, it’s going to be a lot higher because it undercuts the competition. So if the competition hasn’t posted for a much higher price than you’re going to post undercutting those people, and you can make even more gold from doing so.
This is just a very simple way. It’s a great way to start out, especially if you don’t have too much gold. You can just go spend like literally less than a gold, and you can have a bunch of items that you can resell for a profit, and it’s a really easy way to make some gold. But like I mentioned, if you do want to take this a step further, you can find out all the vendors that are spread out around the world that are a bit harder to get to or vendors that have limited stock for certain items.
Here, we’ll discuss the latest changes to Uber Unique drop rate in Diablo 4 and how it affects the game.
I feel like many of you are probably not fully up to date on every latest change to the game. Since it’s the end of the season, there usually aren’t vast changes at this point.
And Christmas event that just released is boring and uninspired, to say the least. So you have good reason not to listen closely to what’s going on with Diablo 4 right now, at least until they start announcing details about Season 3.
That being said, one recent change to the game that you may have noticed is that the drop rate for Duriel’s Uber Uniques has doubled. That’s what I want to talk about here, because this change has serious implications for both future and past events.
Hardcore Diablo fans should be very aware that doubling things in a game rarely has the desired effect. Before we talk about this change, we also have to talk about Uber Uniques’ system of dropping a boss throughout the game. Because the system itself is highly questionable, to say the least.
Everyone praised the developers for their decision when they announced that Uber Uniques would be more suitable for the average player. Because the drop rates for these items have been so low since the launch of the game that only a handful of players in the world are lucky enough to get them.
Anything is better than this system, so that’s why everyone cheered when Duriel could drop Uber Unique items with about a 2% drop rate.
But little did we know it was another horrible system that players grew to hate over time. In order to fight Duriel and have a 2% chance of receiving one item, players must go through a heartbreaking grind.
The time varies depending on the class you play. But I think it’s safe to say that summoning Duriel at a time requires at least an hour of farming time.
Now, if a player kills Duriel in a group, it can increase the number of summons by 4x. But the problem remains: long hours of soulless grinding with a slim chance of getting really good items.
Trust me, 2% chance is small, especially if you want a specific Uber Unique. You can easily kill between 5 and 800 Duriel without dropping your target Uber Unique. And you can get multiple other unique items that are actually useless to your class.
It filled Reddit with posts, complaining about how many times they ran it without getting Unique drops they wanted. Other types of posts are where players post screenshots of the items they ultimately earned as proof of some kind of achievement.
But is beating a simple, easy-to-kill boss repeatedly really a tremendous accomplishment? Players are frustrated, and rightfully so. Wouldn’t it be better if it could drop Uber Uniques from any mob, but the chance of a drop didn’t limit them to a handful of players in the world?
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think the addition of Uber Bosses is completely useless. They serve their purpose well by letting players aim to farm regular unique items, such as Tempest Roar and Malignant Rings. But bundling Uber Unique items with Duriel is a huge mistake in my opinion.
Now let’s get back to the present and look at the recent changes to Uber Uniques drop odds. The fact that the developers made such a change, especially in the middle of the season, upset more people.
First, this doesn’t solve the problem of Duriel being a single semi-reliable way to get Uber Uniques. But that’s not the only problem. Let’s see how some player groups react to this change.
Players who have gotten Unique items they wanted despite tedious grinding without buffs may feel betrayed by the developers. Because it takes new players half the time to get the same items.
The second category of players are those who obtained Unique by purchasing Duriel summoning materials using Diablo 4 Gold or even real money. I personally see nothing wrong with using gold to purchase materials. But since duping is available to certain groups, material prices can become very low due to the excessive number of duped items being sold.
So, while buying with gold isn’t inherently a bad thing, duping is questionable. As for paying real money to get summoning materials, I do understand the reasoning: people want to skip dozens or hundreds of hours of grinding to reach Duriel by paying. I understand the motivation, but it’s still bad for the game as this is clearly a case of pay-to-win and will ruin the game in the long run.
So, the target group that should benefit from the double drop chances are players who have never obtained unique items and plan to get them later in the season. However, at the end of the season, the number of these players was not as high as the developers thought.
It’s entirely possible that some players who never got Uber Uniques evaded this chore, and they still have to do it after the change. At least the price of summoning materials is expected to drop due to increased drop rates.
So, overall, the developers made a controversial change to an objectively terrible system. They could have redesigned the entire system, or at least they could have waited until next season to introduce the change.
Regardless, this is yet another in a long line of terrible decisions from Diablo developers. Looking at this trend, they really have to do better to compete with the upcoming Path of Exile 2. What are your thoughts on this topic? Are you planning to take advantage of Uber Uniques? See you next time!
