Recently, Diablo 4 developers stated in a campfire chat that the official release date of Diablo 4 Season 4 will be delayed to May 14, 2024. This is because they plan to launch PTR ahead of launch.

This Diablo 4 PTR allows players to test the game’s build while it is still in development so that developers can use feedback to make adjustments before the game is launched. After experiencing the ups and downs of the first few seasons, the introduction of Public Test Realm may really turn Diablo 4 around before Season 4.

Many players are happy with the change and excited about the gameplay overhaul in Season 4, but it wasn’t until recent data mining that players became aware of the seasonal theme.

Since an in-development build of Diablo 4 Season 4 exists on PTR, some players have been able to dig up information about the upcoming season ahead of its official release. Therefore, in this guide, we will discuss possible themes about the new season based on these leaks, as well as some of the newly added items and cosmetics.

Iron Wolves May Be The Theme Of The New Season

Season 4 appears to be revolving around Iron Wolves faction in some way, based on clues uncovered in Diablo 4 PTR data mine.

Iron Wolves are a major faction of mercenaries in Diablo game series. They were once based in Kehjistan and were famous for defending Kurast from demonic invasions.

In Diablo 2, they join the player’s quests as hireable mercenaries, while in Diablo 3 and 4, they have always appeared as NPCs.

Much of the data taken from Diablo 4 PTR references Iron Wolves, and assets such as seasonal UI icons that bear a striking resemblance to Iron Wolves logo have also been discovered.

These findings send a message to players that Diablo 4’s latest season will feature Iron Wolves in some way, but how they will be involved remains to be seen.

Some players have stated that the developers are likely to reinstate Iron Wolf mercenaries as companions for players in the new season based on this theme. However, this is just speculation at present and has not been confirmed.

New Items & Reworked Helltides

In addition, seasonal reputation reward items discovered in Diablo 4 PTR data mining also indicate that an Iron Wolves-themed season is coming. In particular, the new Diablo 4 items we found with the names “Iron Wolves’ Glove Case” and “Iron Wolves’ Herb Supply” seem to confirm this idea.

It is worth noting that this leak also mentions reworked Helltides in Diablo 4, such as Profane Mindcage, an elixir that can increase the level of enemies in Helltides. This suggests Helltides may play a larger role in the upcoming season.

Besides these items and reputation rewards, data-mining also points to a new seasonal story NPC being a man named Soudeh.

New Cosmetics

Finally, some new cosmetics in Diablo 4 Season 4’s Battle Pass have also been data mined, including new armor transmog sets that appear to give player characters what appear to be white tunics with floral crowns.

Also, the new Hellseeker Armor Set has also been data mined, giving players Skeletal Armor drenched in Blood and Viscera.

Finally, information about the new Uber unique armor piece, Tyrael’s Might, has also been revealed, giving players their first glimpse of what this classic armor will look like in Diablo 4.

With the arrival of the new phase of WOW Classic Season of Discovery, the character level cap will be increased from level 40 to level 50. This means that you only need to level up 10 levels in Phase 3 to easily pass the level and start the latest endgame content.

Although the total number of levels you need to complete is smaller, since higher-level upgrades also come with more XP requirements, you will still have to invest a lot of time to reach the level cap of the new phase.

Considering that there may be some new players who have just entered, if you want to get from level 1 to level 50 as quickly as possible, then this guide must be suitable for you. Here, we’ll provide some powerful upgrade strategies and rich XP farming methods that you can use to your advantage in Phase 3.

Farming Zul’Farrak Dungeon

First of all, in my opinion, the fastest way to reach level 50 in Season of Discovery Phase 3 is by spamming dungeons. While you can quest in the open world for a steady XP gain, dungeon farming is slightly faster. Therefore, this is ideal for players who want to reach level 50 as quickly as possible.

As for the most efficient dungeon for leveling in WOW Classic SOD Phase 3, it must be Zul’Farrak. This is a level 44-54 dungeon located in northwest Tanaris. It’s worth noting that players can use mounts in this area because of its massive map size.

This dungeon is actually very easy to farm and should be a chief priority for you to farm if you want to level up quickly in mid to late level 40.

And many Zul’Farrak-related quests can be completed at level 40. So once you start playing Phase 3, head to Tanaris to claim the dungeon quests and start focusing on farming Zul’Farrak as your main leveling goal.

Leveling Tips

If you don’t enjoy the monotony of dungeon grinding, or you find it difficult to join a group, you can always take on quests in the open world to get some solid XP from killing monsters and accepting quests.

For this, we would prefer areas such as Stranglethorn Vale, as the quests in the southern part of this area can continue until you are mid-level 40.

Tanaris is also a good choice, as their monster killing and collecting quests will net you a lot of XP once you reach level 40+.

In addition, areas like Feralas and Un’Goro Crater can also be accessed later in Phase 3 leveling process to complete supplemental missions that can get you to level 50 faster.

Don’t forget, the new PVE Event Nightmare Incursions and all related quests for Emerald Wardens faction are also a great way to replenish XP between completing open world quests and dungeon runs.

Discoverer’s Delight Buff

Thankfully, leveling in SoD Phase 3 is slightly easier than the previous Vanilla Classic because of the addition of Discoverer’s Delight buff. This buff was introduced in Phase 2 of SoD and increases all XP gains between levels 40 and 49 by 50%.

With this, you should reach the endgame of Phase 3 slightly faster and start getting the high-end content the new levels offer.

Unlock Isobel

Unlocking Isobel isn’t as simple as most missions, as you have three parts that can be completed in any order. But I’m ready for you.

Tournament Of The Heart

First, you need to start the exciting “Tournament Of The Heart” quest. This is the key to unlocking Isobel as a companion.

To begin this quest, go to Castle Navire Wayshrine and speak with Lord Remard DeFulley and Lady Henretta Aranthe.

After speaking with these nobles, follow the quest markers and speak to Isobel Veloise herself. She’ll explain the situation and say you need to complete some trials to win Glittering Sapphire Tourney. Don’t forget, preparing some ESO Gold before you start can make your exploration process go smoother.

Order Of The Iron Knot

Now, when you choose which trial to do first, be sure to select Order of the Iron Knot first. This will set you on a quest to retrieve the hilt of the legendary Redheart sword from Duforts.

Before finding the hilt of Redheart, head to the library where you can find information about the sword. After finding a book in the far corner of the library, talk to Isobel and she will tell you about Duforts to the east.

Once you reach the field, you’ll find another Aspirant also pursuing the sword, with Isobel’s former second-in-command beside him.

A fallen tree blocked the path into the woods, but Isobel knew a way around the obstacle. You need to follow the map to a forest and look for the marker pointing to the hilt of Redheart. Talk to Isobel later and determine your next move.

Oaken Order

At this point, it’s important to select Oaken Order, as this will appear again in the rest of the mission. To find the symbol of Oaken Order, you need to head to Coral Road Wayshrine and follow the map to find the mage’s cabin.

Once you reach the cabin, you’ll find a barrier with three pillars. Examining them, Isobel will deduce exactly how to dismantle the barrier from an old story mage told her as a child.

She will ask you to find Cat’s Paw Flower, Heron’s Feather, and Spriggan’s Veil. All these items are nearby, so follow the map to collect them all. Place them on the corresponding posts.

Once the barrier is down, enter Mage’s cabin and he will tell you to take his staff as a symbol of Oaken Order. After finding the staff, talk to Isobel.

Order Of The Albatross

Last but not least, we also need to get Order of the Albatross. To do this, you can meet Isobel at Castle Navire Chapel, found on the map.

To collect Gilded Lute Of Captain Brenvale, you first need to find the key to Castle Navire Catacombs. Follow your map until you find Aurelia, who will take you to meet Dame Hendra. Quickly bribe her to get the crypt key, then get inside.

There will be some enemies around here, but the path is mostly straightforward. Then you will find Aspirant Mortens here who is hiding from the spiders. He will give you the key to open another passage deeper into the crypt. However, you need to find his sword.

Continue along your map to reach the sword’s location. You’ll encounter some spiders along the way that you’ll need to kill, but they won’t pose much of a challenge.

Give the sword to Mortens and use the key to open another passage, which will take you to another part of the crypt. Kill the ghost haunting the area, then look for Lute behind it. Once you get Lute outside, talk to Isobel.

Get Token

When you’ve impressed all three Sapphire Orders and earned their tokens, it’s time for the finale.

Find Isobel presenting the token during the ceremony. After the ceremony, speak to Knight Commander Jourvel in her office to unlock Isobel as your companion.

Skills And Gear

Finally, let’s briefly talk about Isobel’s skills and equipment.

In terms of skills, I like that Isobel is set up as an AoE damage dealer, with skills such as Holy Ground, Penetrating Strikes, Sunder, etc. For gear, I would prefer to wear Heavy on her chest and legs, and then wear Medium or Light on smaller pieces with Aggressive or Quickened Traits.

As the biggest new content in WOW Classic SOD Phase 2, Blood Moon Stranglethorn Vale PVP Event has achieved outstanding success in the game. Its unique mechanism and challenging content attract many players to log in to Season of Discovery every day and strive for season rewards.

In SOD Phase 3, there will be no new world PVP event, but the developers stated that they will continue to update Blood Moon Event and maintain its value. This has also allowed Phase 3 to reignite the interest of many players.

Since Stranglethorn Vale will still be a relevant leveling area until you’re mid-to-late level 40, you’ll probably still be traveling to Booty Bay and its surrounding areas for much of Phase 3, and you’ll still encounter Blood Moon Events.

In the new WOW Classic SOD phase, you should notice some differences in Blood Moon Event, including new gear sets and new ways to earn Honor, among other changes. New Rewards For Blood Moon

As before, Phase 3 Blood Moon Event will also spawn in Stranglethorn Vale, meaning PVP battles only seem to be getting bloodier this time around. Players will receive special PVP sets and even new items for Phase 3, and have more opportunities to farm WOW Classic SOD Gold here.

The rewards you receive from Blood Moon Event will be expanded to support the new 50-level endgame level in Season of Discovery Phase 3.

These level 50 rewards will be earned by earning a new currency called Gold Massacre Coin, which players can earn by defeating other level 50 players during the event. These Massacre Coins will become Blood Moon Event’s new currency, and they can be exchanged for many of the new rewards in Phase 3 event.

In addition, new gear for level 50 players will also be added to Blood Moon Event, and players can purchase it from Mai’zin after participating in the event in Phase 3.

Some example rewards currently shown by the developers for Phase 3 PVP events include Bloodthirst Crossbow, a Hunter weapon that drains 5 health points from the target with each attack. There’s also Libram of Draconic Destruction, a Paladin relic that gives you +36 attack power when fighting Dragonkin.

Bloodstained Commendation Will Be Removed

Previously, Bloodstained Commendation could be purchased from Mai’zin at Gurabashi Arena for 25 Copper Blood Coins for 250 Honor, but it was removed from the game at the start of SoD Phase 3. This means that any Bloodstained Commendations you currently hold will expire from your inventory after the new phase is released, so don’t get too hung up on them.

The developers say that if you can save these now to get a minor advantage in PVP rankings when the next phase starts, that’s really fine. But they don’t necessarily expect you to hoard enough gold to take you all the way to level 14 later when that level becomes available.

It is worth noting that when Blood Moon transitions to the new level 50 version in Phase 3, a new recommendation token will be added, which will once again bring fresh blood to Azeroth.
