Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled a “Server Slam” beta weekend for Diablo 4, however, the weekend clashes using the launch of The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom.

‘Diablo 4’ assumes ‘Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom’ launch with the “final” beta

The Server Slam beta was announced yesterday (April 20) and can offer fans “one final weekend” to experience Diablo 4 before it launches on June 6.

The beta allows players to level up the game’s five available classes as much as level 20 and can offer a Cry Of Ashava Mount Trophy – together with all of last month’s beta rewards – for hitting that rank on a single character.

Fans can pre-install the Server Slam beta from May 10, using the full beta set to operate from May 12 to May 14.

If the Server Slam’s kickoff date looks familiar, that’s because May 12 will even see Nintendo launch The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom for that Nintendo Switch.

However, Blizzard has noted that players are going to be “testing the capabilities in our servers just before launch” — meaning when the “Server Slam” beta is really as popular as Blizzard is planning on be, it might face a lot of lengthy queue times that put their hands up during Diablo 4‘s last beta.

If that is the case, fans of both games could get plenty of time to experience Zelda while they’re queuing to get involved with Blizzard’s servers.

Luckily, both games look set to produce nearly per month apart: while Tears Of The Kingdom hits the Nintendo Switch on May 12, Diablo 4 won’t be launching until June 6.

Diablo 4‘s launch comes just four days after Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 arrives. Speaking of which, the upcoming fighting game recently began its own beta for PlayStation fans, although Xbox and PC players will have to wait until a few days to jump in.
